This poem is written by my better half. This is the first time I have seen one of his poems (may be he has a hidden collection, need to look!). Felt like sharing with the everyone! Read and enjoy!
ohh..This sound of rain
when the droplets hit the grass,
makes the dried roots shine like brass;
when the hail hits the roof,
makes the neighbors dog go woof woof;
When the water is rushing down the street,
makes the neighborhood looks neat;
when there is lightning in the sky,
makes the house light in a fly;
when there is thunder rumbling,
makes the heart (go) pounding;
when the rain is down pouring,
makes the car go skidding;
oh..this sound of rain,
eventually saves us from the pain.
