IPL

I thot IPL deserved a place in my blog due to the hype and fights and feelings of (city) patriotism it is creating among indians everywhere .. wel al of u knw abt the IPL ..and for the uninitiated it is the Indian Premier League.

lets go further on the reason y i wrote this post ... i am sure everyone of u might b supporting one team or the other which wud mostly b the team which representing the state u grew up or spent most of ur life ..if tats nt the case, u might b supporting a team as u might b having sentimental attachment to that states some way or the other (went to coll etc) .. wel there r exceptions jus like me ...

i grew up in hyd for some time ..my parents r settled there ...so i shud b rooting for hyderabad deccan chargers but then i am nt and i dnt feel like too .. for 8 yrs i lived in tn wid 4 of those yrs being in a coll in chennai (man .. i sure do miss those days) .... i love chennai and i consider myself one .. i knw more abt the places in chn than of hyd .... so tech i hav some attachment to the chennai superkings .. ... but here comes the twist in the story ... i am supporter of kolkata knight riders too.. u might wonder y .. nuthing to do wid the players but wid the sponsor himself .. their is sponsor is none other the SRK ... i love and adore him .. i am nt crzy enuf to worship or things like that but i like him and thus my support for his team ...

as the ipl is gng on .. i am jus hoping for chennai and kolkata to reach the finals :) . i jus dnt knw whom i wud support then but i wud b happy/sad either ways ..oh i almost forgot ...i havnt watched a single match of ipl yet .. i jus follow the news and and then start an arguement ( tho nt exactly a arguement) wid one of the supporters of another team for fun ..or they wud start bugging me as they knw my support is for kolkata ..

so for all those ppl who havnt yet started followin it .. do so ... it is a good way of intertacting wid guys ;) as they love to gloat abt their knowledge of cricket while u dream away-half listening abt SRK and his smile :P

Monday Morning Blues

every1 has mon-morn-blues..so do i .. i hate getting up on mon morn early to realise i am getting late for work .. but this weekend was some thing different .. as i mentioned in my earlier post that i am looking fwd to gossip girl seaon .. wel technically i was lil wrong .. i had watched 16 episodes of gossip girl thinking it was the first season (in fall 07) and tat second season is not until this fall . but then wen i watched the last episode i realised it was in the middle of a story ... so i google agn and find out that it is currently runnin on tv and tat i had bn missing this superb show .. but thx for the internet i watched it online and now i am updated til the last one ...

now u might b wondering wat this has to do wid mon-morn-blues ... .wel tis show is aired at 8 pm on mon .. .and i hav bn waiting lookin fwd to see it on tv since fri night .. and thus today morn i was pretty excited tat its MONDAY .... i think for this week i might hav tue-morn-greens (i made that up :D ) .. am totally excited ..cant wait for tonite ...

oh tat reminds me tat tis sun *18th is my graduation day ... wud b gng to philly .... so am loking fwd to that also ... meeting friends .. may b party .... doing the WALK .. keeping my fingers crosed tat18th is a nice and bright sun(ny)-day ...

i knw i stil knw every one is curious y i am so obssesed wid gosssip girl ..wel tonite after the show may b i wil pen down my thots here abt tat show and cpl of other shows i am/was addicted to.....
